Leak was slow but becoming gradually worse. Pulled dishwasher out from under counter then visually inspected sump while it ran. As soon as the water got very hot, I could see the sump leaking where it meets the stainless pan. Searched for the correct sump gasket without success. Turns out that the gasket is built into the sump for this model. The built-in gasket is very narrow (under-engineered IMHO which is probably why it developed a leak). It finally gave E15 code, then after drying out the E15 code came back within 5 minutes of running. I dried out the base then I ran the dishwasher and observed water coming down the overflow chute after running only 5 minutes.There is a water inlet (clear water chamber on the side of the machine). It had some gunk inside that was stopping a black float shut-off from moving. I replaced the water inlet chamber. I also suspected the non return valve (also called a check valve). From the parts... On my Bosch she55m15uc/64, the cycle would take 3-4 hours, with the machine stuck on "1 minute" for a long time. The interior was getting moldy and smelly, and the dishes had a white film. Ordered and replaced sump pump, backflow preventer valve and turbidity sensor on Bosch dishwasher. The latter two parts were recommended when ordering the sump pump and did need replacing.
