I watched the video on replacing the switch on a side freezer where prying out to original switch did not look difficult. I then got on the floor and tried to pry out my switch. After reviewing the 'how to' video on AppliancePartsPros.com, I unplugged the refrigerator and removed the back cover to access the motor. I then unplugged the wiring and removed the bad motor. I cut the clip plug and wired it to the new motor, installed the fan blade from the old motor and re-installed the new motor. Thank you to everyone who entered comments, especially about the "Clicking" sounds when it was trying to turn on the compressor. I did not notice them at first, but then heard them and was confident that one of these parts (or both) had a problem. Took off the freezer door, took off the top hinge on the refrigerator door, replaced the handle, re-installed the top hinge and the freezer door. This is a two person job - one to remove the top hinge and replace the handle, while a second person holds the refrigerator door in place. Replacing the handle was easy. Dropped light panel by removing two screws with socket set. Unplugged two terminals and unclipped the light socket from the base. Then just clipped the new socket onto the base, plugged the connectors onto the terminals and remounted the base. Total job was less than 15 minutes. Read more

I replaced the auger motor. You have to remove complete ice maker. Everything is just like help video to do except yoke dispenser. I watched video several times. Yoke will not just tap loose, after 30 minutes of tapping, I was using screwdriver to brace. I used a Dremel tool to cut part of shaft, came off easy then. After that, the repair went great.
