This was a difficult problem to diagnose. 1) Unscrewed the metal pieces behind the switch panel. You'll notice 3 screws. Afterwards, I realized that I just needed to remove the screws to the left and right of the switch box. The box then slides out. Checked the three door switches; used ohm meter to see if there was resistance or if a switch was bad. 2 out of 3 switches showed resistance with the ohm meter. The last one tested (of course the last one) NO (normally open) did not show resistance; I.e. the ohm meter reading did not change when the switch was depressed. I cleaned up around my work space, then turned the power off to the appliance. I removed all the burners to get to the mounting screws for the range top. • Will not fill with water

Replacing the inlet valve solved the problem. The old valve was somehow clogged with white sediment. I probably could have taken it off and cleaned it out if I'd known, but replacing the valve was much easier. Took about half an hour to repair. Video walk through was extremely helpful. Pop out the old switches with a putty knife pressing down on the tab, grabbed with pliers to pull out, disconnect the wires and connect new switches, pressing back in place. Read more
