Ordered the parts and followed the instruction videos that Sears provide, Initially tried to order parts from Sears directly but the web-page kept complaining about my shipping address. Their loss- no wonder they're going out of business. Also, should note that the original assembly was plastic but the replacement was metal. Sure sign of a crappy cost-cutting decision. First tried replacing the seal around the door as that was the simple and most logical fix. Still leaked. Removed the front and upper panel to inspect. Found calcium deposit running down from under the Air Vent Assembly and wet behind the black stick-on insulation. Easy to trace the leak to the bottom of the door. => Ordered new Air Vent Assembly, gasket and Vent Deflector. Parts arrived. Took 5 minutes to remove upper panel. I replaced the seal which turned out to be a little tougher job than it was supposed to. Small screws and very limited space to get into. Use a magic nut driver or something to hold the screw. Read more

Dishwasher washer would not drain after hearing glass-like particles during the drain cycle despite trying to clean the cylinder filter. Originally suspected the drain motor was damaged. Ordered new wheel assembly, which came in about a day and a half. The broken assembly was on the left front so I only had to slide the dishwasher out just enough to expose the two mounting screws on the outside of machine.When you remove the old assm there are two rubber washers on the back side. If you didn't order new ones,remember to remove them from broken assembly and install them onto the new piece.Overall this is an easy fix and took about ten minutes including pulling the machine away... Removed and replaced diverter motor. Ops check good, no more leaking. I'm guessing the seal was the problem but diverter ruined (water residue) from leaking over the last 5 years??? This seal is only available if you buy the tub so followed another review - removed diverter then gently pried out the seal, cleaned and then lubed with silicone grease. Also turned the seal 180 degrees or the opposite way before reinstalling the diverter and then wrapping it all back under the counter. Read more

Removed bottom cover, located leak at float switch, removed and replaced float switch kit. The toughest part of the repair was removing the Float & Retainer Assembly (in the interior of the machine tank) which broke when I pushed it back and pulled it straight up as suggested in the service manual. I called several service places who charged $75-$90 diagnostic plus parts & labor, and they were not able to get here for at least a week. I knew it was going to run at least $200.
