The Belt is an OEM replacement part for LG dryers that is responsible for connecting the motor to the drum to allow it to tumble. Over time, dryer belts can stretch, wear out, or even break, leading to a drum that won't turn and clothes that don't dry properly.
Symptoms of a bad Dryer Belt include:
Causes of failure can include regular wear and tear from the dryer's operation, overloading the dryer beyond its capacity, which puts extra strain on the belt, or a misalignment that causes uneven wear. A damaged belt can prevent your dryer from functioning correctly, leading to inefficiency in drying clothes and potential motor damage due to unnecessary strain.
This OEM LG part can also be used on Kenmore/Sears appliances.
I disassembled/reassembled the dryer according to the ApplianceParts Youtube video. With my limited electrical knowledge (just enough to be dangerous) I initially figured it was a problem with the heating unit, sensor(s), or the control board. After diagnosing the problem (bad thermistor), I had to order the parts and was able to repair and reassemble the dryer several days later. After removing the drum, I cleaned all the dust etc. out of the inside (it gets dirty in there!) and inspected,... Read more
Replaces broken or worn dishwasher upper rack adjuster assembly. Includes wheels and mounting hardware for smooth rack adjustment and gliding action.
I replaced the adjusters on both sides (since two rollers broke off on one and one broke off on the other). Replacement was easy, just remember to keep the clips from the original adjusters. Take the clips off, remove the adjuster, replace with the new adjuster, and replace the clips. The new adjuster comes with the rollers already attached so no need to keep the ones from when plastic axle broke on the original adjusters. Read more
Houses the lint filter to capture debris during drying. Replace if cracked, causing clothes to snag or tear. Confirm fit with your model number.
Note: Due to manufacturer changes to this part, you will also need to order lint filter part number ADQ56656403. To purchase the guide and filter in a kit, order part number 383EEL3002Q.
I replaced the warped cover guide and the lint filter. Now it works perfect! Sears was going to charge $100 just to diagnose the well known problem, not including parts and labor. It only requires 4 screws(i used the old ones). Easy fix. Read more
This thermal fuse is a safety device mounted on or near the blower housing inside the dryer. It is designed to blow and cut power to the dryer if the internal temperature exceeds a safe limit, preventing potential fire hazards. Replace this fuse if the dryer will not start or has no power at all - a blown thermal fuse is one of the most common reasons a dryer stops running completely.
You can do this! Although an Art Director by trade, I like working with my hands. I’m adept at working with tools and following instructions. In today’s disposable society, I prefer fixing things. That said, this has to be the easiest repair I’ve ever attempted with the largest cost-savings versus hiring a professional. My brand new dryer had been in use fewer than six months (average 6 loads per week) when suddenly the dryer would not heat. The drum would spin, there were no error codes, and... Read more
Oven not heating or baking unevenly? The bake element often fails and causes these issues. This DIY repair takes just 5-10 minutes with basic tools.
Visually inspected bottom heating element and found that it had failed. There was a @2" gap of missing element and burned debris below the damaged area. This was discovered 3 days before Christmas. 1. Open under oven storage drawer and look on the left inside frame frame for Model ID and Serial No. 2. Search on AppliancePartsPro.com for bottom heating element. 3. Ordered part on Sunday evening before Wednedsay Christmas - with expedited next day delivery. 4. Received order confirmation and... The Gas Oven Ignitor is an OEM replacement part for Frigidaire gas ranges and ovens. It uses electricity to generate a spark that ignites the burner flames for heating. To check if the ignitor is the issue, look inside the broiler oven while the oven is turned on. If the element is glowing a bright red, it's getting power. If not, it may not be getting enough power to ignite the gas and should be replaced.
Symptoms of a bad gas ignitor can include:
Causes stem from normal wear with extended use. The ignitor's ability to spark diminishes as parts degrade. No spark means no gas ignition.
This OEM replacement part is compatible with Electrolux, Gibson, Kelvinator, and Kenmore brands.
My Kenmore 790.74139310 gas range was taking over 30 minutes to reach 350F. It used to take a little less than 10 minutes. The problem was the ignitor for the lower gas burner. It would glow but not pass sufficient current to increase the gas flow to the lower burner. Once at temperature, there is of course loss of heat when loading the oven with room temperature food. This took too long to recover, so we did not have proper temperature for proper cooking for the first 30 to 40 minutes. Food... Read more
Fix E09 error codes or no heat issues with this dishwasher circulation pump and heater assembly. Moderate DIY repair, typically 15 minutes to 2 hours.
This was to address an E:09 fault code on a Bosch dishwasher. I swapped out the Circulation motor and heater assembly. The video given on APP.com was for a different model, but more or less the same. The video gave me confidence enough to order the part and attempt it. The significant difference was that in the video, the assembly is easily accessible from the bottom of the unit. On my unit, however, the bottom is a closed plastic pan that isn't easily removable, likely requiring removal of the... Read more

Replacement door shelf bin for refrigerator doors. Installs on door to store condiments and bottles. Order if your original bin is cracked or broken.
Maybe 6 or 7 years ago I had a fridge conk out on me just before Christmas. It was loaded with food for the holiday, including a prime rib roast that was the hope and dream of the holiday for every red-blooded non-vegan in the house. In order to save the day I bottom-dollared a Frigidaire replacement. It performs well temperature-wise, but when it was only a couple years old the door handle cracked wide open. It was so delicate, you'd think that it was a movie prop "Break-Away Refrigerator... Read more

No water was making it to the icemaker, so I first replaced the dual water valve. The valve was bad, but still no water at the icemaker. So I ordered the recommended icemaker from AppliancePartsPros. It arrived in a couple of days and took less than 15 minutes to drop in. The new unit was producing ice in less than 30 minutes. Your parts search, photos, repair videos and quick delivery made the whole process painless. Read more
Lower dishrack assembly for dishwashers. Holds dishes, pots, and pans during wash cycles. Replace if rusted, cracked, warped, or damaged. Includes wheels.
We ordered a replacement Lower Dishrack KIt which arrived in a very timely manner. I was surprised to see the order included a utensil rack as ours was fine and we had not ordered one. After installing the dishrack, we discovered the old rack was obsolete. It was so nice to realize GE was on top of things in sending the replacement utensil rack instead of me having to order one after the fact. Read more
Oven not heating or baking unevenly? A faulty bake element is usually the cause. This bottom heating element is a straightforward DIY fix in 10-15 minutes.
Watched AppliancePartsPros.com instruction video. Ordered new oven bake element, which arrived a couple days later. Removed old oven bake elelment. Installed new oven bake element. I am very appreciative of the instructional video. It's a very handy way for me to figure out if it's a do-it-yourself repair or not. In this case, another key thing it pointed out was the fact that the two wires that attach to the oven bake element have a tendency to slip back into the insulation behind the... Read more
Ice maker not filling or water dispenser leaking? This water inlet valve regulates water flow to both. DIY repair typically takes 10-20 minutes.
Our Kenmore (Whirlpool) refrigerator's ice maker had stopped making ice. I searched YouTube and found a repair videos for this exact problem, finding one with a similar refrigerator and the identical ice maker. I learned that the Water Inlet Valve had likely gone bad and would need to be replaced. In the video the tech pointed out the small rubber tube inside the freezer that comes down from the ceiling of the refrigerator into the ice maker. This tube feeds it the water to make ice with and... Read more
Seals the bottom of your dishwasher door to prevent leaks during wash cycles. Replace if water pools on floor or seal appears flat or worn. Confirm fit.
My Whirlpool dishwasher was leaking out the bottom of the door. I replaced the gasket and the lower door seal. When I ran a test wash, it was still leaking. After reading more online, I found that it could be a cracked washer arm. The initial inspection of the washer arm looked normal but when I used my faucet to slowly pour water into the inlet of the arm, I noted that water was leaking through a seam and not just the holes where it should come out. I then tried running a wash without the... Read more
