John May 03, 2017 for Model Number MVWB800VB0 I'm getting LB errors, so I replaced the sensor, and just purchased and replace the stator. After replacing the stator the first load completed fine, but now I'm back to having issues again. Any suggestions? Do I need to replace the board?
1 Answer John, If you are getting a sensor error and the sensor has been replaced then you will want to check the wiring and if the wiring is good then the issue will be the control board. Read More...
J R February 10, 2017 for Model Number WTW6600SW2 If there are cracks in the motor stator, but the machine works as it should, only has a slight leak under, would the cracks be the cause of the leak?
Jared January 03, 2017 for Model Number WTW7340XW0 Washer does not go through spin cycle. It gets stuck around 12 minutes and sounds like its trying to spin, but keeps slipping. My tenants initially thought it showed a UL code and so I replaced the suspension rods and re-balanced the machine but that didn't work. I took off the Impeller (washplate) and noticed a couple of bent and or missing metal clips underneath. Was wondering if this could be the issue, or possibly the Hub, Basket-Driven/Driver, or my fear is this could be the Stator, Motor. Any ideas or suggestions on how to diagnose?
1 Answer Jared, The hub would be the most likely cause for the the unit to not spin on this unit. The part number for the hub assembly will be W10820039. Read More...
Pops December 04, 2016 for Model Number WTW6200VWO i get the UL code on spin cycle. Was told to replace the suspension rods. This did not help. I checked the motor stator and it has cracks. Tryed two others that were also cracked and stil get the same code UL. I hate to spend $150 for a new motor stator and still have the same problem. Is there anything else that would cause this code to show?
1 Answer Hello Pops. Look for bad bearings or something between the inner and outer tubs. Last thing is control board being bad. Read More...

Bob K September 17, 2016 for Model Number MVWB850YW0 I have a couple of items. During the wash cycle you can hear the unit go klunk, klunk each time the agitator rotates back and forth. The other item is the loud grinding sound during the spin cycle. It is continually getting worse. Can I just replace the bearings and seal or do I need to replace the tub as well?
1 Answer Bob, You shouldn't need to replace the tub at all. But you do want to remove the washplate and check for an article stuck underneath it, then remove the tub and check the basket hub W10820039 for worn and damaged "teeth" This could be the " klunk" noise in the wash/agitate as well as a grinding noise in the spin cycle. If you do need or want to replace the tub bearings and seal you'll need the W10435302 seal kit and the W10447783 Installation tool. Read More...
John July 12, 2016 for Model Number Whirlpool Cabrio 8-10 years old We have a balance issue. We get the problem with 10-12 minutes left in the cycle. I have checked the suspension rods and see no issues. Approx 6 months ago, I changed the bearings and shaft. I had a repairman look at it and he said the stator was cracked. My inspection later was there was minimal cracks around the inside of the stator. It would be an easy DIY repair for $160. Do you think this is the issue. I do not want to spend the $300+ for him to fix it when I can by a new Cabrio washer for $600.
1 Answer Hello John. It depends on the issue with the unit. It could be the stator, but then again, it could be other things as well. We would need the model number and to know what error code your getting on the unit to help with this. Thanks. Read More...
Barry January 25, 2016 for Model Number Maytag Bravos XL During agitate cycle, there is a noise as if gears are not lined up correctly. This has happened occasionally in the past and removing all clothes has alleviated the noise. Earlier questions had a response to remove the agitator to check it. How is this done?

Lori J January 05, 2016 for Model Number WTW7340XW2 When in spin cycle the washer is only spinning at a ultra fast speed It does not matter what wash cycle I chosen or if I have selected my own preference for spin speed. The washer will only spin at a ultra fast speed, any help will be appreciated.
1 Answer Hello Lori. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the control board WPW10372179 is bad and will need to be replaced on the unit. Read More...
B November 18, 2015 for Model Number WTW6600SW2 It was leaking and loud, so I replaced the tub assembly. After putting it back together and testing, I got the F51 fault code. It spun freely manually, but when running the washer in the spin cycle, it starts for a split second and stops (this is when the error pops up). I replaced the RPS but it was doing the same thing. I replaced the RPS again and still getting the F51 fault code. The likelihood that both new RPS's were bad is slim, so I'm confident it's not the RPS. I never got this fault code before replacing the tub assembly, I'm pretty confident that I replaced the tub assembly correctly because it spins freely, manually and makes no noise. I'm at a complete loss. Please help.
1 Answer B, You will want to check the wiring between the RPS sensor and the main control board. If the wiring got damaged then this will cause the issue that you are having. Also check the rotor and stator to make sure that there is no damage to them. If these check ok then the only other issue would be a faulty control board. Read More...
