Ed June 21, 2014 for Model Number maytag bravos washer mvwb750wqo Hello; My maytag bravos top load washer is not happy while in the spin cycle. It makes a loud noise. Slow at first then gets louder, then lower, and higher. The bad is getting worse, and worse. What do you recommend? Thank you have a nice day....
1 Answer Ed, If the noise that you are hearing is a loud grinding/ roaring type noise then the issue would most likely be in the tub bearings in which you would want to replace the outer tub of the unit which is part number W10193886. The other thing that you would want to check is the stator and rotor to make sure that there is no damaged to them. Read More...
Jim March 28, 2014 for Model Number Kenmore Model # 110.28032701 My washing machine makes a loud noise during the spin cycle . What would cause this and what should I look for to repair?
1 Answer Jim, Loud noise during the spin cycle will most likely be caused by a faulty spin bearing. With your unit there are 2 options to repair this. The first option is to replace the outer tub which comes with the bearing and the shaft and is part number W10193886. The other option is to replace the bearing and shaft assembly. The part numbers for the bearing kit is part number W10435302 and the bearing tool needed is part number W10447783. Read More...

Tee November 24, 2013 for Model Number mtw6600tb0,mgd6400tb0 First, my washer spins but is unbalanced and hits the walls. I've tried to balance the load and washer but no luck. What could it be? My dryer drys cloths 70% of the time. It stops working and it makes a sound like it's trying to turn on but doesn't. What could that be?
Mamawee November 02, 2013 for Model Number WTW6200SW2 The washer makes a LOUD noise when spinning and goes out of balance unless it is a tiny load. Towels and jeans are impossible... Is it a bearing issue? If so, what part(s) do I need?
1 Answer Mamawee, The loud noise in the spin cycle would indicate a tub bearing issue. Because of the "drag" created by the worn bearings, it could also explain the "UL" and "DC" error codes in the display. At present you have the option of replacing the outer tub assembly W10193886 which will have the bearings, seal and shaft included. Your other option is to order the Bearing and Seal kit W10435302 and the tool W10447783 to remove and install the bearings in the original outer tub. Read More...

Jeff August 03, 2013 Our Maytag washer model MVWB450WQD has bad bearings and it looks like the washer/spacer under the agitator is worn. I want to replace all the bearings while I'm in there, but can't figure out what the part numbers are to replace them.
1 Answer Jeff, The bearings can either be gotten as part of the outer tub W10193886 or you can purchase the bearing kit W10435302 which come with the bearings and the agitator shaft. You will also need a tool for the bearing kit which is part number W10447783. Read More...
Tony April 04, 2013 for Model Number maytag bravos During the wash stage there is a loud grounding sound while the washer is agitating the clothes. It almost sounds like the teeth of a cog missing and it doesnt seem like the machine is agitating very much. Where would I start?
1 Answer Tony, You will want to pull the agitator out and the inner tub out and check the splines on the shaft and check to make sure that there is nothing caught under the tub. Make sure that the agitator is not damaged on the inside. If these check ok then the bearings would most likely be the cause of unit not operating. Read More...
Kent S April 03, 2013 for Model Number WTW6400SW2 About half way through a cycle I get an F54 error code. I replaced the pump (which had a small leak). Again, I got the F54 code. I noticed a brown "scum" on the exterior of the rotor. Where should I look for a leak up there?
1 Answer Kent, If you are getting a brownish scum on the exterior of the rotor then you will want to look for the tub bearing for the leak. If the tub bearing is leaking then you will need to replace the bearings W10435302. If the the bearings have to be replaced you will also need to get the bearing tool. Read More...
