Kathy April 01, 2013 for Model Number wtw7340xw2 My washer has started getting louder and louder during the spin cycle. I pulled it out tonight and found under the machine was a large black spot of dust. I havent took anything apart yet and was wondering, what could be wrong? This was a very quiet machine that I loved until this happened.
1 Answer Hello Kathy. Based on the information you provided, it sounds like the bearings W10435302 are bad and will need to be replaced. You will need to order the bearing tool W10447783 to install the bearings into the tub assembly. Read More...
Jose March 25, 2013 for Model Number WTW6700TW1 I need to know if the satator of this machine spins? Does it have movement while it works?
Mike November 18, 2012 for Model Number 110.27082604 I got an F51 code and was in the process of removing the RPS unit and noticed the stater has cracks in the housing area but not in the magnets and everything else looks great, does it need to be replaced or will it last awhile longer. The washer is less than 5 years is this normal. by the way this is my 3rd control unit for a F1 code. I think this machine is just going to be a money pit any recommendation on a good washer
1 Answer Hello Mike, If the stator plastic is cracked then you would need to replace the stator WPW10419333. If you do not you will continue to have the same problem due to the magnets will start wobbling and throw the sensor W10183157 off. Read More...

Fabricio A. October 12, 2012 for Model Number wtw6400sw3 My washer machine has a displaying cod message that said SD at the end of washing the clothes. The machine also does not drain the water or spin. Thank for helping me.
1 Answer Hi. The SD code is a slow drain. Remove the lower kick panel and remove the drain pump cover. Clean all debris. Feel inside to see if the pump impeller is spinning loose on the shaft. If so then replace the pump part # W10536347. Make sure the pump intake hose is clear. You may have to remove the hose off the tub and see if there is a blockage at the tub hole as well. Fill the tub with a small /cold normal wash and after a few min. advance it into a drain. Do this over and over to drain the suds. Remoive the pressure switch tubing and blow back into the tub to clear the tubing of suds or lint. Cut back to 1/3 of the soap fill so this does not occur again. Todays detergent is formmulated to clean well with less water. Use Afffresh washer cleaner monthly part W10549845 to maintain proper performance levels. Thank You. Read More...

Brittany June 05, 2012 for Model Number mvwb700vq0 My washing machine comes on but stops at the spin cycle and says f 50. Is this caused by the drive motor? Does it need to be replaced?
1 Answer Hi Brittany. Motor Stalled. F then 50 flashes when the motor rotor position sensor (RPS) part # WPW10178988 senses no rotation. • Does basket turn freely? If not, make sure bottom shipping pack has been removed. Remove basket and look for foreign object. Determine cause of friction. • If basket turns freely, see TEST #3. It will be advantageous to find the supplied tech sheet inside the cabinet to aid you in the diagnosis. It allows you to put the unit in a diagnostic mode which brings up fault codes and tells you which circuit needs assistance. Use a volt/ohm meter part # MA-DM1 to assist you in your diagnostics. This way you can use the ohm meter to check the wire harness in the rps circuit to see if it is open and that or a bad connection will send the same code as well . Thank You. Read More...
