Wash cycle stopped after fill cycle. Tim G. • Cambria , CA • November 15, 2023
All of the repairs were incredibly easy, however the experience might be different for everyone. My skills and background experience make troubleshooting and repairing fairly easy for me. I began the journey by troubleshooting out some of the peripherals such as the float mechanism and door latch switch by using a multimeter to ohm them out. I then moved towards the thermostat and turbinator. I measured the resistance on the thermostat and it seemed to be fine. I then cleaned the turbinator...

The access panel broke and needed to be replaced this part is located above the toe panel and just below the door Charles K. • Van , TX • February 09, 2016
I carefully removed the insulation and metallic trim from the original part using a small knife. I wraped the insulation with Glad Press'n Seal plastic wrap and attached it to the inside of the new part with double sided tape. I attached the metallic trim to the new part with super glue and then attached the Access Panel to the lower front of the dish washer. It took about 30 minutes to do the job but it was not difficult.

Genuine Ge part
By: Ge
Part Number: WD21X10505
This part is a tactile control assembly kit that is used on a dishwasher. The tactile control assembly is the system that uses touch to make adjustments. For example, the buttons are connected to this tactile control assembly, and when the buttons are pressed, it is activated. A new tactile control assembly kit may be needed if the dishwasher keypad is entirely unresponsive when the buttons are pressed. If this is the case, the dishwasher will not be able to be used at all. The replacement process is relatively easy and takes anywhere from 30 to 60 minutes to complete. A screwdriver will be needed for the replacement. This tactile control assembly is a genuine General Electric part and is an OEM part sourced directly from the manufacturer. It is sold individually. This specific tactile control assembly is compatible with dishwashers that are manufactured by the General Electric brand.

I ordered a control tactile asm kit which gave me the new board for the controls. All I had to do was use a screwdriver to take out the old board and connect in the new board. I'd never done anything much like this before but it truly only took me a few minutes!

Start button stopped working Kahlil W. • Fairbanks , AK • September 12, 2014
Literally took no more than 15 minutes. I unscrewed the back panel of the door, unplugged the old keypad and pealed off the old keypad. I used rubbing alcohol to thoroughly clean the surface where the new keypad would go. Then I slid the new keypad into place and plugged it in. Peal off the adhesive backing and stick the new keypad down, reattach the door panel and you are good to go.

Bosch dishwasher was running waaaayyyy too long and control buttons had failed David H. • Moraga , CA • June 12, 2014
This is a common problem with the Bosch product evidently. After watching the on-line instructional video, I ordered the control module from APP. The part arrived quickly and the replacement of the module was very easy. Within 10 minutes of starting the project, the dishwasher was repaired at a fraction of what it would have cost for a service call.

My dishwasher did not match other appliances in new home Judith O. • Montgomery , AL • August 06, 2016
I ordered both the front long panel and the lower access panel in the new color. I watched the instructional videos which were very helpful. I was very careful to remember where all the screws belonged as I took it apart. The panel required an extra small attachment to fit due to a change in design. These were included in the box along with clear instructions. It took about an hour to put back together, but I encountered no problems. The dishwasher now looks great. If I had not found this...

Control panel on dishwasher no longer worked Gary G. • Canton , GA • October 14, 2014
Took the 6 hex screws out and simply unplugged a couple of wires off the control panel. Called appliance parts pros and gave them the part number that was embossed on part. They had it in stock and shipped it. I received it within 3 days. Plug the wires back into the part and replaced the 6 screws. 10 minutes top to repair. Highly recommend you doing this. Would have cost hundreds more if a professional had done this. Thanks !!
