A610 Maytag Washer Parts

I decided to order the siphon break kit (siphon break, washer and clamp included), a new hose, and clamp (for the bottom hose connection) as the hose was original and well over 15 years old. One day my wife went to bake something and the bake/broil buttons as well as #3, #9, and oven light ceased to work. Local repair guy came by and wanted to charge $500 to fix it....YEAH RIGHT! Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat. Long and short the replacement parts fit perfectly and the washer is running like new. Special thanks to the online support make my repair possible. Read more

First replaced the drum rollers...that wasn't it..took dryer back apart and spun the belt tension wheel by hand (should have done this the first time I took the dryer apart) and it squeaked. so I ordered the full parts: wheel, idler arm, idler spring, arm sleeve, E ring..Put it back together and whoa..no more squealing!! The lid shut-off switch is located behind the lid How About That. I order the plastic ball the hold the lid in place plus the lid shut off switch. I watched the video that AppliancePartsPros.com has on how to replace the lid and the plastic balls. I removed the lid to get to the two philips head screws to remove that part of the shut-off switch. I took the new switch out of the package and compared it to the old switch. This was some repair! My SG1000 stackable is over 30 years old and was purchased second hand. I cannot believe this machine still runs. APP has sold me repair parts for this unit now 3 times. First I wanted to replace the old belts. They still worked but was more a preventative thing. Other videos were available on You Tube. The only part difficult to install was Thrust bearing kit - make sure when installing to pull down on shaft so washer and e-clip will fit.
