Seals the bottom of your dishwasher door to prevent water leaks during wash cycles. Replace if you notice pooling water on the floor. Confirm fit with your model.
I went to your web sight. I entered the GE dishwasher model # and found the gasket was available. While looking up the needed gasket I happened to see an applicable how-to replace the gasket video and watched it. It was easy to follow and VERY helpful. As I watched, I wrote down the gasket replacement procedure step-by-step. I ordered the needed gasket and received it in 2 days (AMAZING). The replacement entailed disconnecting the water supply, the power supply and the discharge hose. I removed... Read more
Bring back smooth loading on the bottom level. This lower dishrack replaces bent or rusty racks so dishes sit securely and the rack glides cleanly without snagging or collapse.
What’s included One lower rack assembly.
Dishwasher won't start or run? A faulty door latch prevents cycles from beginning. This latch assembly secures the door and activates switches. 5-10 min fix.
After I double checked that the unit did have power to it, I concluded it was probably a switch or the User Interface Board. I found the parts on the AppliancePartsPros for the best price and delivery. After the parts were delivered two days later, it took me a couple hours to disassemble and re-assemble the door for the dishwasher and luckily everything seems to be working fine three days and three loads later. The only issue I had was with the User Interface board..... this is a generic... Read more
Lower dishrack assembly for dishwashers. Holds dishes, pots, and pans during wash cycles. Replace if rusted, cracked, warped, or damaged. Includes wheels.
We ordered a replacement Lower Dishrack KIt which arrived in a very timely manner. I was surprised to see the order included a utensil rack as ours was fine and we had not ordered one. After installing the dishrack, we discovered the old rack was obsolete. It was so nice to realize GE was on top of things in sending the replacement utensil rack instead of me having to order one after the fact. Read more

Seals dishwasher door perimeter to prevent water leaks during operation. Replace if you notice leaking from door sides or bottom. Easy 5-minute install.
I ordered door seal and bottom strip seal: GASKET TUB PLASTIC Number: WD08X22094 GASKET BEACH PLASTIC: WD08X21894 I had done this once previously and removed the door. That was not too bad but trying to put the door back on the hinges by myself was a bit of work. This time I: 1) removed the 2 screws at the bottom of the door. 2) opened the door all the way 3) slowly pulled the door back on the hinges till I could pull out the bottom gasket 4) slid the new gasket back in place 5) pushed the... Dryer bearing slides enable smooth drum rotation. Replace when hearing squeaking or rumbling sounds during cycles. Confirm fit with your model number.
A thumping sound (like sneakers in the dryer) started happening. We stopped using it so that it wouldn't get worse and potentially break more parts. Online research suggested rear drive shaft would be the problem. But also suggested while we have the dryer apart, would be smart to replace the belt and the slides/glides (green and white plastic tabs in front, attached to the door). We ordered all the parts from AppliancePartsPros.com and they arrived FAST. It helps to have two people for this... Read more
Dishes not drying or staying wet after cycle? This heating element heats water during wash and dries dishes after rinse. DIY-friendly replacement part.
I followed the directions on several websites for repairs. The obvious place to start is the heating coil and thermostat. I checked the continuity of the coil and it was good with a reading of almost zero resistance. Next I read that there is no thermostat controls on my GE dishwasher so I followed another webpage that said the Sensor Turbidity Assembly acts like a thermostat so I replaced that. Wasted effort as that switch sensor was OK. Normally it has a light on when it is working, a... Read more

Dishwasher won't drain or leaves standing water? This drain pump kit removes water at cycle end. Common DIY repair taking 15-30 minutes with basic tools.
I viewed youtube videos and followed the instructions on how to determine the cause of the problem. I cleared the lines and poked my fingers in to check for obstructions. But in the end, the drain pump was the problem. The pump came in the mail the next day. The job required the pump and only one of the hose clamps as the original setup has one single ear clamp which can be removed with wire cutters and a standard one which I re-used. There is a wire adapter in the kit that is necessary to... Read more

Replacement silverware basket for dishwashers. Holds utensils and flatware securely during wash cycles. Needed when original basket is cracked or broken.
Our GE was installed about 8 years ago and was AWESOME for much of its early life. However, progressively its cleaning ability diminished. By replacing all the spray arms (clogged with debris), filters, drain hose, and sump...this dishwasher cleans like it did when it was new! Cost was around $100 (also replaced a wheel and the silverware basket) and labor was relatively simple. And to think...my mother-in-law said, "Wouldn't it just be easier to buy a new one?!?".
