This 270° burner valve controls gas flow to a single cooktop or range burner, restoring predictable flame adjustment and reliable ignition so you can cook safely and accurately. What it does:

Regulates gas flow to the burner so flame height responds to the control knob
Enables proper ignition and consistent flame during use
Common symptoms indicating a faulty valve: burner won't light, flame stays too low or high, or burner only lights intermittently
Stops gas flow when set to off to help prevent unintended flow

Install notes:

Turn off gas supply and power to the appliance before replacing the valve
Use appropriate wrenching tools and avoid torqueing valve fittings; follow OEM torque guidance if available
After installation, check all connections for leaks (soap-and-water test) and verify correct burner operation
