After researching on the APP site, I decided what I thought I would need and purchased a new Gasket, Gasket Insert, Left & Right Corner Baffles from APP. The parts were shipped immediately. I will say that the GE Washer/Dryer combo is nice if you need to save space, but trying to fix it was far from "fun". It took several hours to get to the location of the Seal Tub. First the dryer had to come off the top, then pretty much every bit of the internals needed to come out too, The seal could not be accessed from the bottom of the machine, and it wasn't easy to get to it from the top. Ordered boot, nozzle, and inner spring for boot. Would have ordered outer, but the schematic for parts made it very difficult to navigate to locate parts...24 hr/next day air and I have a happy wife. The only thing that would have made it easier, was having a pair of Spring Expansion pliers, be careful not to pinch inner boot! My co-worker bought a house to flip and gave me the refrigerator. I'd been looking for a garage refrigerator to store water, cola, etc in. Fridge was essentially fine but I sanded and painted one side which had rust spots. Turned out like new. The door seal was moldy and didn't seal properly. The only advice I can lend is to take the door off the hinges and lay it down flat. So much easier. With this seal you basically just take out all the screws, peel off old seal and set the new one... I bought new gaskets, which were expensive! At least the repair was easy. Pulled out the old ones, pressed in the new ones. Had to redo them because I didn't notice the little flaps that need to be covering the space in the middle, between the doors. So, pulled them off, and turned them around, and pressed them on again.
