Ordered boot, nozzle, and inner spring for boot. Would have ordered outer, but the schematic for parts made it very difficult to navigate to locate parts...24 hr/next day air and I have a happy wife. The only thing that would have made it easier, was having a pair of Spring Expansion pliers, be careful not to pinch inner boot! • Door sweating

My co-worker bought a house to flip and gave me the refrigerator. I'd been looking for a garage refrigerator to store water, cola, etc in. Fridge was essentially fine but I sanded and painted one side which had rust spots. Turned out like new. The door seal was moldy and didn't seal properly. Removed old bellow following procedures found on relevant Youtube videos. Reinstalling however was more of a challenge. Getting the rear seal of the new bellow on the washer housing was not as easy as the videos indicated. The key to that process is being sure the seal is well lubricated which is not quite apparent from the videos but is essential success. Bought this door gasket and watched the video, very easy if you just take your time and start in one corner and go to the opposite corner. this way it stretches the seal completely into each corner. do as the video says and it will go great. Read more

I will say that the GE Washer/Dryer combo is nice if you need to save space, but trying to fix it was far from "fun". It took several hours to get to the location of the Seal Tub. First the dryer had to come off the top, then pretty much every bit of the internals needed to come out too, The seal could not be accessed from the bottom of the machine, and it wasn't easy to get to it from the top. • Takes too long to dry

Get some acetone at a Hardware Store before you start. A pint will do. Unplug the dryer from 110 VAC. Pull the top off of the dryer, by lifting it from the front first. It is attached with snap metal fittings. Do not completely remove the top, just tip upright to gain access to the front interior of the dryer.
