This 4-position rotary encoder is the user-control input that lets the appliance detect selector knob positions so settings change reliably. It replaces a worn or faulty encoder to restore responsive cycle selection. What it does
- Converts knob rotation into electrical signals so the control board reads selected settings
- Replaces an encoder that causes intermittent or no response when turning the selector
- Helps stop erratic or incorrect cycle selection caused by a worn or damaged shaft or contacts
- Resolves clicking, jumpy, or unregistered position changes at the console
What's included
- One rotary encoder (4-position) as pictured
Install notes

- Handle the encoder and circuit board carefully to avoid ESD or mechanical damage
- Test selector operation after reinstalling the panel and restoring power
