Washer Dryer Combo Spring Parts

First went through the troubleshooting guide on the website and read the various stories and watched the repair videos for replacing the springs and suspension pads. Then before ordering any parts disassembled the machine only to the point of removing the cabinet to see if there were any obvious issues. This was the second attempt at fixing this problem. The first repair and parts were generated by listing the problem and reviewing the potential corrections, listed on the web site. From making repairs on other clothes washers, I was confident that some of those potential causes could have been the cause. My wife and I along with Mat on the video replaced the upper and lower friction pads, along with the balance springs. The machine runs smooth as it did new. For about the last month or so the clothes (especially sheets) would just roll into a ball (like a big sausage) the wouldn't dry. Kept readjusting the clothes. I went on the internet to see what the issue could be and found lots of advise about shaking out the sheet and clothes first, using tennis balls, and using fuller or smaller loads. I replaced drum rollers, axle shafts and front bearing kit. Still had noise. Ordered Idler Arm, Belt Tension Pulley & Washers. I ordered parts at 3:30 pm on a Wednesday, received new parts at 11:30 am Thursday. The instructions & videos were very simple to follow and provided excellent tips. Back up and running with silence in an 1/2 hour. My 13 year old dryer is running like new again. Way cheaper than calling a repairman. Read more

Found the wonderful parts diagrams you most generously share online and a couple of YouTube videos . I determined it should be repairable. In my cast the agitator shaft was frozen (rusted) in place. I was very fortunate to have been able to eventually remove it with the use of a lot of BP penetrating oil and heat. Long and short the replacement parts fit perfectly and the washer is running like new. Special thanks to the online support make my repair possible. Read more

Watched a few of your videos and ordered the springs and a insert, and actually got the parts right. I am not a Appliance repair guy but I am retired and I am pretty handy so I thought what the heck. I watched the videos, a lot of common sense, common tools, and plenty of time. My knuckles are busted up and a little blood, but I got it done. Was actually kind of rewarding. Works like a champ. Replaced transmission and support assembly. Hub nut corrode on support, spanner wrench would not loosen. Had to use 1 11/16 deep socket and impact wrench to remove, basket would not com off support even after cleaning out and soaking with penetrant and using automotive air hammer to push out. I had to cut support plate in half with die grinder, cut bearing from shaft and punch out agitator shaft then use die grinder with carbide burr to cut basket shaft in two before basket would come off...
